Led By Light

“The Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, & in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, so that they might travel by day & by night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left it’s place in front of the people.” ~Exodus 13:21-22

Moments of external visual light or human love extended to us can awaken us to internal insight of the inner Light of the Holy Spirit & with that we step out of seasons of suffering & into seasons of beauty. “God’s Light shines in the darkness & the darkness, no matter how dark it may be, can never overcome it.”

“The Prayer”

I pray You’ll be our eyes - And watch us where we go

And Help us to be wise - In times that we don’t know

Let this be our prayer - When we lose our way

Lead us to a place - Guide us with Your grace

To a place where we’ll be safe

I pray we’ll find Your light - & hold it in our hearts,

When stars go out each night - Remind us where You are

Let this be our prayer - When shadows fill our day

Lead us to a place - Guide us with Your grace

To a place where we’ll be safe

We ask that life be kind - & watch us from above

We hope each soul will find - Another soul to love

Let this be our prayer - Just like every child, needs to find a place Guide us with Your grace - Give us faith so we’ll be safe
